Dušan Mravlje
Biography
Dušan Mravlje, born on February 13th 1953, is married with three children and one grandchild. He has studied mechanical engineering and has worked for 15 years in a chemical plant. Six years ago he decided to become a professional runner. He was supported by the Slovenian army, where he got a job as a sport-soldier. As such he gets a lot of spare time to follow his passion as a long-distance runner. Dušan lives in Trzic, a small village in the Slovenian Alpes.

Dušan has taken part in more than 60 100-kilometre runs, 30 100-Milers and another 30 runs longer than 100 Miles. He has won more than 40 ultramarathons, e.g. the Trans-America-Race, Sydney-Melbourne, the 24h Europe Cup race and the ultramarathon Athens to Sparta. The latter Dušan has won in the fabulous time of 23h 43min.
